Thanks, I am still working on getting the details worked out. I think I've got the basics down but I'm having some difficulty scaling things up. At this point it looks like the bottleneck is with the database on my prelude-manager / postgresql box. If I end up getting that figured out, this may turn into a "how to scale prelude / postgres for high alert volumes" guide as well. I'm mainly documenting things so that my eventual succesor can hopefully keep things running after I am gone, because this has turned out to be a fairly complicated setup but I am confident that the end result will be worth the effort. Do you have a "development" area of the wiki where "work in progress" pages could be edited without making them generally available yet? -- [ Robert Vineyard | RHCE, Security+ ] [ [email protected] ] [ Information Security Engineer III ] [ 404.385.6900 | FAX 404.894.4690 ] [Finding a needle in a haystack isn't hard when every straw is computerized] Yoann Vandoorselaere wrote: > Hello Robert, > > Le dimanche 15 novembre 2009 à 12:14 -0500, Robert Vineyard a écrit : >> Nevermind, I tracked it down to a filesystem permissions issue. >> Prelude-manager seems to be up and running now. >> >> I stand by my previous comments about the online wiki documentation being >> very obtuse, incomplete, and disorganized.
