Compile Times for Snort-3 on Dual Core 2Ghz

The below times are with a plain 'make' (no -j 2, -4, -8, etc).. Snort 3 make start time 6:23 finish time 7:08 (total time with plain make is 45 minutes in Vbox/Fedora 22) Snort 3 cmake start 7:17 finish time 7:54 (total time with cmake is 37 minutes in Vbox/Fedora 22) w/plain cmake or make [root@moocow bin]# ./snort --v -------------------------------------------------- o")~ Snort++ 3.0.0-a2-167 -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- pcap DAQ configured to passive.
