Dear snort Community,


All the command line from the « 1.4 Network Intrusion Detection System Mode » on the snort users manuel is false because I do not have a snort.conf file,

also how to launch a good command line ?

because I want to launch snort one time per day by crontab 😊, (or maybe more time per day 😊)

I have another ask 😊,

How to launch a snort scan which a quitting of a bad thing found ?
