Hello Together

I have a little problem. I'm not sure if it's my installation or if I'm doing it wrong.

I want to run Snort in sniffer mode to show all network connections.

According to the documentation I can run Snort in sniffer mode like this

snort -v -l /var/log/traffic/

However, when I do this, I only get the message "Snort successfully validated the configuration (with 0 warnings)."

No matter what I try I always get the same message.

Can anyone give me a hint as to what I am doing wrong here?

Kind Regards Stefan
