Let me ask a different way.  What does it do?  What output do you get?  You’re asking a question expecting an answer, but giving us no input to answer.

When I run any line of command snort the shell Linux does nothing,



For example snort -V will launch nothing,

It’s helpful if you post the error, or a screenshot of the error, or a paste of the error, the steps leading up to the error..  etc.
