Hi - we are currently working on a Windows port of Snort 3. We don't have a timeframe yet.

Hi, we are currently working on a customer project where one of the requirements is having snort run under a Windows OS, we have tested with the 2.9 precompiled Windows binaries however the preference is Snort3, does anyone know if Snort3 precompiled binaries will be available soon? Or has anyone had an success compiling for window? We compiled for Ubuntu successfully yesterday however there was lots of material available online to get us through, for windows there is literally nothing available.

Any help or guidance appreciated
