Hyperscan not working

I am installing and configuring snort for our environment. I am using the 3.1.18 install guide and have run into a problem that I am having trouble solving. Hyperscan is not working. I am getting the following errors:
[cid:[email protected]]

It appears that it is not detecting Hyperscan at all when I run the version command.
[cid:[email protected]]

Any ideas on how to fix this?
