I have finally completed the first phase of the WinSuricata project.

With an active internet connection and just two quick configuration changes,
the self-contained framework completes a bare-metal setup on Windows 10/11
or Server in under 8 minutes from start to finish-or under 2 minutes if
cached files already exist. It handles everything automatically, including
native Windows Service registration, Suricata, Npcap, EveBox, all
Dependencies and automated rule-set compilation straight out of the box
with built-in resume capability.

While there is still work ahead-including additional maintenance options-the
current build is stable, and ready for use. Head on over to WinSnort.com
<http://winsnort.com/> to grab a copy and check it out. Bug reports and
suggestions are greatly appreciated!
