Details: Talos is releasing Snort 2 SIDs 58722-58733 and Snort 3 SIDs: 300055-300057 to address CVE-2021-44228, an RCE vulnerability in the Apache Log4j API. Talos has added and modified multiple rules in the server-webapp rule sets to provide coverage for emerging threats from these technologies.
