Details: Talos is releasing Snort 2 SIDs: 58740-58744 and Snort 3 SID: 300058 to address CVE-2021-44228, an RCE vulnerability in the Apache Log4j API. Talos has added and modified multiple rules in the server-other rule sets to provide coverage for emerging threats from these technologies.
