SnortSnarf generating errors and not writing index.hml file

I get several error messages to the effect that "Using an array is
depreciated 
at" then it lists several .pm files. I'm using Snort v. 2, the latest
version
of SnortSnarf off Silicon Defense's web, and Active Perl 5.8.0 Here is
the 
results of the command line: 

C:\SnortSnarf>snortsnarf.pl -win -d c:\snortsnarf\snfout.log\alert.ids
snfout.log\alert.ids
