I'm going to see exactly how stable it is sometime in the next 72 hours
when my personal e-mail -- one message every 400 seconds or so -- gets
routed to that box. Everything that hits the mail stream requires a run
through SpamAssassin (to look up and tag), a dozen MySQL queries (the
Postfix transport map), and possibly an invocation of procmail. I'm
going to be watching disk throughput and CPU usage, and if it's sluggish
or otherwise performing at less than 100%, I'll scrap that idea and work
on moving everything to another box I have.

(The current plan is a Pentium III with 512 MB of RAM and a 12 GB IDE
hard drive, but the other possible box is a dual Athlon MP with 1.0 GB
of RAM and 200+ GB of RAID 5 disk. We'll see... <G>)

I know; I wasn't planning a switch until I know everything is all set up
and peachy. Just be aware that I'm on it. ;-)
