Dear mids and anyone else who cares, I looked into writting a slashdot article about the recent release of IIP 1.1. I have come to 2 conclusions. 1.) The previous article was mostly about the project and some of nop's achievements. We would need some kind of credible story to post with the announcement of the release of 1.1. Slashdot people detest it when a slashdot article is just used as a substitution for freshmeat. 2.) I have recently been bitting off WAY more than I can chew. (I have been busy to the point that I haven't written any code for IIP in over a week! Eeak!) Anyway, if you (or someone else) would be willing to do the slashdot article instead, I would be much obliged, mids. :) (Sorry.) -- Hezekiah
