I would too.  Seeing as there was no message before IIP quit I can't 
figure out what kind of permissions issue it was though--whether it was 
as a configuration issue with the operating system or something with 
IIP's setup.  At a minimum, IIP is lacking error checking/reporting when 
it dies.  But I should think that IIP's installer ought to set up 
defaults and permissions so that users can run the proxy.  I usually run 
the linux client but this would seem to be an issue for anyone running 
Windows with any protections.  Can anyone else replicate this under 
Win2K?  I think I've installed IIP on another Win2K box before without 
encountering this problem.
