-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Guys, I would have sent out the same message but during the entropy generation stage I was banging my wireless mouse around quite a bit and the batteries fell out. I spent about two minutes picking up the batteries as well as cleaning the random liquid that was probably some sort of alcohol out of the battery compartment. Translated. I have not looked at the code for this piece of the setup (or any windows code at all) but I would be willing to bet that there is a timer that is set at a specific timeout instead of the 'ok' button being enabled after an acceptable amount of entropy has been received by the algorithm. Translated. Try just waiting a LONG time... It worked for me but after about a minute of moving the mouse and hitting the keyboard like I was trying to break it, and about two minutes of no input to the software at all, then a couple of key press events and a couple of mouse move events. Also, Who is the developer for the windows based code. Setup, service (I know it is not a service but I will work on changing that if applicable.), and base system (probably the person who is responsible for the win32 build)? /peace/ ~t-bone PS it is going to be a great honor to work with you all. - -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Lance James Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2003 10:32 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [iip-dev] Fw: Windows IIP problem.
