That is probably because of the lag with remote desktop. Remote desktop makes GDI calls directly to the server and back. So if you move the mouse very quickly and generate 2500 mouse move messages in your remote window the rdp libraries will shorten it to probably about 20 just enough to move the mouse as far as it needs to go. It is a bandwidth saving shortcut. I would highly suggest using the keyboard since every key press is sent to the server. The only thing that kind of sucks about that is that you will have to press a whole lot of keys compared to moving the mouse. Also if you move the mouse very slow it will probably work better. That is my 2 buffalo cents ~tony The win32 Dude. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:iip-dev- > [email protected]] On Behalf Of Trevor Benedict > Sent: Friday, September 12, 2003 5:35 PM > To: Invisible IRC Project development mailing list > Subject: Re: [iip-dev] Fw: Windows IIP problem. > > Ive noticed using Remote Desktop it takes a very long time for it to make > a > key, like 5 min. > It may have to do with the mouse drivers or some funky program. > Thatz my 2 cents. > > Trevor > Mr. Echo > the IIP-IM guy > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Lance James" <[email protected]> > To: "Invisible IRC Project development mailing list" > <[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, September 12, 2003 10:01 AM > Subject: Re: [iip-dev] Fw: Windows IIP problem. > > > > Tony, > > > > The issue is that it's if you move your mouse around within the box it > will > > work, but we need to either make that more clear, or add a bar line > > percentage gui, or figure out how it can look at the entire movement of > the > > mouse. > > > > If you want to take a stab, I can guide you where that portion of the > code > > is. > > > > Lance > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Tony" <[email protected]> > > To: "'Invisible IRC Project development mailing list'" > > <[email protected]> > > Sent: Friday, September 12, 2003 12:47 AM > > Subject: RE: [iip-dev] Fw: Windows IIP problem. > > > > > > > > > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > > > Hash: SHA1 > > > > > > Hi Guys, > > > I would have sent out the same message but during the entropy > > > generation stage I was banging my wireless mouse around quite a bit > > > and the batteries fell out.
