This is a forwarded message From: Ice Zetsumei <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Date: Wednesday, December 24, 2003, 1:22:01 AM Subject: Project idea: IIP Telnet ===8<==============Original message text=============== Dear IIP Dev Team, I use applications which use Telnet as a base application (the term MUCK is used to describe the ones I use, which are Talker style chat servers with a MUD type environment of rooms, characters, objects, commands, actions and another data type for MUF programs, Multi-user Forth). It is my hope that someone on the IIP team would be willing to help me look into support for using pure telnet applications for this, I would need information on how to create the server and clients, then I would see to distribution. Implimentation of the chat server would allow users to log in, chat, and do the normal things for users of MUCK clients, though with the added bonus of animinity. I already know my entire command staff, so we'd be able to maintain the animinity through our methods, users who pay for services (hashcash, maybe even yodels) will be able to build, more they pay, the more they're allowed to do so, if they so choose. Individual programs will be developed, though I would need a Telnet or SSL tunnel, and an ability to work with Hash Cash in the Multi-User Forth (meaning I'd need to know how hashcash is processed to convert to the MUF language) also, due to the format, flood control would need to initially be turned off. - Ice ===8<===========End of original message text=========== -- Best regards, Lance mailto:lance-I6tsvYnOiqa1tQ18MUY/[email protected] _______________________________________________ iip-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.invisiblenet.net/mailman/listinfo/iip-dev
