Would be great if you could make at  least squidguard 1.5 compiled with
sqlite support.

Your squidguard version is not patched against CVE-2009-3826 and
CVE-2009-3700

There is 2 patches available on http://www.squidguard.org/, unsure both are
related to the exact same issues.

You could look for patches at debian repository
