A few files are not yet include in update, notably the glibc changed files. Update need to be cut in differents parts. I haven't committed the change on findutils, diffutils and tar to add --disable-nls to ./configure. diffutils and tar already use make install-exec, so translation are not installed. The reason I haven't yet committed is that is is already so many changed files. I haven't tested coreutils-8.18 upgrade, due to the su removal and wait for LFS to find the right combination. That should be to move shadow package earlier in the compilation order. Anyway coreutils-8.19 will arrive very soon to fix recently discovered sort -u issues (present since 8.6 for the first one, discovered by code inspection for the second). grep-2.14 should arrive very soon too, to fix issue with empty line match. A new patch release has been announced for the near future. dnsmasq-2.63 has been released but there is one issue in the version tag (still 2.63rc6 in 2.63 package). I don't know yet if 2.63 will be released again fixed or 2.64 will replace the failed 2.63 release. I haven't yet tried wget-1.14 upgrade. I haven't succeeded in changing x86_64 to compile a 64bits kernel. Not tried enough, the different cleaning and upgrade were made first. I stopped at the make.sh changes needed to compile as non-root an entire build_x86_64 tree. Then there is probably one week of mostly full work to resolve the other issues. Probably, there is a simpler solution, still compile on build_i486 and only add a few hack to compile a x86_64 kernel. That would give a 32 bits userspace, and a 64 bits kernel that will support more memory. There is probably a few install changes to do.
