I have tested coreutils-8.19 upgrade, not yet commited the change.
Moving shadow earlier following LFS was not a trouble.

One coreutils test fail (tests/df/total-unprocessed).
Could be related to the way file systems are mounted inside our chroot. mount only show /dev/mounted.
Anyway, that should be only a test suite issue, not a real bug.

Probably I should change coreutils tests to not break the build when one test fail.

upgrade is done.

2.63 upgrade is done with a sed to fix the version.
