FYI... Currently got my changes to the installer complete that it works with HP array controllers using CCISS driver. If anyone is interested in trying them out, let me know. I haven't submitted them to the official version due to the following problem. When I use the latest source code, the installer fails quite often to find the logical drives on my test machine (when compiled as a module). If I compile them into the kernel, installer finds them no problem but since the official source doesn't compile them in the kernel, applying patches will break the installed IPCOP and it will fail to boot. I have found that the 2.02 source code compiles the cciss driver as a module and it finds the logical drives every time. Also, you can apply all currently released patches and it still boots without problems. I have been systematically trying different revisions in an attempt to track down what change (or changes) broke the drivers and believe I have it narrowed down. Will submit my changes for review once I have a solution for this.
