G'day all, I have a requirement for HA and failover. I was thinking this would be quite a useful feature to have in IPCop. basically have IPCop host a VIP and do some checking to see if the primary host is up and fail over if it not. Of course it does not have to be done in IPCop but it might be a could place to put it. I don't think the process's involved would be that intrusive a bit of heartbeat type code and a bit if iptable magic to move the data flows. What do others think? There used to be (I think) a road map for IPCop and I could be able to spend some time developing code at the moment. -- 'ooroo Stinga...(:)-) --------------------------------------------------- Email: [email protected] o You need only two tools. o ///// A hammer and duct tape.
