10Gb NICs?

Has anybody used IPcop with 10Gb NICs? My neighborhood will be getting 1Gb Fiber over the summer with promises of 2Gb to follow shortly. So, I'd like to get ahead of the curve and upgrade my internal pipe before hand. Looking at the Intel X540 Converged network adapters.
