Be sure that you have read the help pages (links to help pages are
indicated with the symbol "(i)" for "information" ).

As I understand it (and I invite correction) address filtering is used to
specify by ip address or by mac address (or by both) the devices connected
to BLUE which IPCop is to recognize.

This should be easy to understand in the typical case that BLUE is used
for Wi-Fi, in which case undesired intruders may connect, but should not
be served.  But address filtering also may be useful if BLUE serves an
ethernet nettwork.  And BLUE may serve a mixed Wi-Fi/Ethernet network.

GREEN, however, is a protected (and therefore, trusted) network; as a
matter of policy, anyone who connects to GREEN gets served, without
question.  So address filtering is not required for GREEN.
