Dave, I am in the same boat, except I have the Netgear AC791L from Verizon. I asked for help regarding this a month or two ago -- both here on the ipcop list and on debian-users. So check the list discussions back then. As a possible alternative to getting IPCop to recognize a USB port as RED, someone suggested that I use the USB cable of the modem to feed a small, inexpensive computer which has ethernet capability, and let that small computer feed the RED ethernet port of the ipcop machine. Whoever comes up with a good solution should write a HOW-TO.
