   G'day Dave,
      Have you selected [Persistent] in the Reconnection section of your 
Dialup Profile???   If you have selected [Manual] or [Dial on Demand] 
then try [Persistent], otherwise if you already have [Persistent] 
selected and it is not working raise a bug report.
