Thanks for your reply. I tried what you suggest. It works fine.

However, it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I need the ssh 
connection to be done from a remote host to a local host within the LAN 
other than the IPCop box itself.

In addition the external request will be made over a non-standard port 
say 2222. Then IPCop should redirect this entrance petition to port 22 
of those local host.

In previous IPCop versions this was called NAT for Net Address 
Translation or so.
