Hello When transferring to another machine, ensure that SSH is enabled, and Password Authentication is enabled before saving/exporting the backup from the parent machine. If you don't you will not be able to ssh into the child machine. It will have different ssh identity. Also, if the hardware is different, do not restore hardware settings. Either case will require a complete reinstall of IPCop on the child machine. Ask me how I know that.
