Sorry, that should have been titled 'timeout' not timwout.

For clarification, in Network>Dialup, Reconnection is set to persistent, 
Holdoff time is 1 second and maximum retries set to 9999 and is not a 
problem if the ipcop 2.1.9 box is replaced by a Fritzbox router which is 
incapable of doing everything that the Ipcop box does with no modifications
