No, non sono sicuro, anzi, sono sicuro che la chiave _e'_ a 1024 bit.
Purtroppo mi sono reso conto che l'howto in italiano puo` generare
confusione. Per chiarezza, riporto il corrispondente in inglese

che certamente e` piu` chiaro:

since new processors are getting quicker and quicker. So keep this in
mind. The minimal key length GnuPG demands is 768 bits. However some
people say you should have at a key-size of 2048 bits (which is also
really a maximum with GnuPG at this moment). For DSA 1024 is a
standard size. When security is a top priority and performance is less
an issue you ought to pick the largest key-size available. [...]

Ma, ribadendo quanto detto nella mia mail precedente, non sei
necessariamente costretto ad utilizzare la DSA a 1024. Puoi infatti
generarti chiavi RSA (magari a 4096 bit) e firmare cio' che vuoi.
