Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required and must be clearable to TS/SCI.
SOC Engineer position in Washington, D.C. A wide range of knowledge and skills are needed such as incident response, intrusion analysis, computer forensics exploitation, advanced analysis, intrusion methodologies, intelligence analysis, vulnerability assessments and technical reporting for various government customers. Duties include managing the various security devices installed in the customer network to include firewalls, intrusion detection systems and scanners. Specifically these duties include managing the Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis, and Response System. Also, the SOC Managed Devices Engineer will perform incident handling, incident response and escalation management in a 24x7 environment. Further, the SOC Managed Devices Engineer will help the SOC Engineer operate and maintain the SOC by tracking and resolving service delivery issues, acting as the technical bridge between the customer and sales, and by designing and implementing various projects that will lead to overall improved service quality and profitability. The SOC Managed Devices Engineer may also be called upon to surge after hours in order for the SOC to handle emergencies and will be responsible for other duties as assigned. Finally, the SOC Managed Device Engineer will help the SOC Engineer with incident handling, incident response and escalation management in a 24x7 environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

BS degree is preferred. 1-3 years of experience in Intrusion Analysis. Demonstrated ability to work independently or under only general supervision. Experience should include computer intrusion analysis and investigation, intrusion operations and detection; computer network surveillance and monitoring; vulnerability assessments; hacker methodologies and techniques; computer network exploitation methodology and techniques; computer attack and exploitation methodologies and techniques; firewall exploitation. Preferred experience includes: network protocols; network devices; computer security devices; multiple operating systems; secure architecture, methodologies, and tools; hardware and software configurations; and network LAN/WAN system administration in support of computer intrusion operations.
