*** It is important to note that the successful candidate will either currently hold HMG Security Clearance (SC) or the appointment will be subject to successful achievement of SC clearance ***
Our client is leading the pursuit of a multi-hundred million pound Government programme to deliver an IT enabled, transformed security capability for the UK. This will comprise significant large scale project/programme management, design, development and implementation of state of the art secure systems and software.
Reporting to Programme Director will direct all aspects of Security within the Programme
Responsibilities
• Accountable for all elements of Programme Security
• Establish and maintain effective working liaison between the Programme and the Authority
• Ensure all critical Information Security Management Systems are managed effectively.
• Implement and review information security policy documents
• Define and implement security processes, ensuring compliance with the Manual of Protective Security and ISO1779 and ISO27001
• Ensure security related relationships within the Consortium are effectively built and fully maintained
• Management of the Programme Security Team
• Direct all aspects of Communications, Operational Security and Change Management
• Manage all aspects of Information Security
• Ensure processes are in place and adhered to for Incident Management, Business Continuity and Compliance
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements
• Degree in Information Security Management or Similar
• Previous experience with Home Office or related Agencies
• Proven track record in a similar role on a large scale and complex programme
