We're looking for a Sr. Linux Systems Engineer to join our Systems & Network Infrastructure Department. You will be joining a group who are a key practice of our company and this is an exciting time to come be apart of the strategic growth we're headed into.




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Minimum of 5 years of Linux systems administration in a production environment (Preferably RedHat/Fedora Core)

Configuration and maintenance of common applications and services:

Red Hat Directory Server (OpenLDAP, acceptable)
Postfix
Apache
MySQL
ISC DHCP
ISC Bind
FreeRADIUS
SSH
NFS
Intermediate or better Perl and Bash scripting.
Participating in team/project meetings
Working with senior members of technical staff on larger projects
Proven ability to quickly learn and implement unfamiliar technologies.
Proven ability to quickly isolate and troubleshoot issues under pressure in a production environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to clearly document, design and procedural information.
Must be a self-starter

Preferred skills and knowledge:

Experience working with load balancing technologies and web server farms.
Experience with blade infrastructure (HP a plus)
Experience managing SAN infrastructures (Preferably NetApp)
Experience with developing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans
Security practices, implementation, security suites/applications

Optional experiences that are a plus:

Cisco IOS/CatOS experience
Cisco MDS experience (Snort a big plus)
IDS Analyst experience (Snort a big plus)
VoIP (Mitel Phone Switches)
