Security Assurance
Cistel Technology Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Security Assurance with one of our private sector clients.
We are presently searching for a Security Assurance (SA) prime. The SA prime is reporting to the chief architect / VP of Engineering and working closely with R&D teams and professional service team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Requirements:
• Good communication in English, both oral and written (presentations, technical reports and proposals).
• Recent development experience with C applications, with a minimum of 5 years programming (C++, assembly, Java, perl and other scripting languages are an asset).
• Strong knowledge and experience of computer security, cryptography, reverse engineering, hacking, and software security and protection.
• Excellent experience with hex editors, debuggers, emulators, and binary tools.
• Familiar with most poplar OS such as Linux, Windows, Mac, and embedded systems.
• Good Knowledge and recent experience of compilers, linkers, loaders and decompilers.
• Good knowledge of binary object file formats.
• Defense Anti-Tamper Software Protection Initiative.
• University degree preferably in Computer Science/Engineering coupled with practical experience.
• Real-world experience in security audit and assurance programs.
Desirable Requirements:
• Good knowledge and hand on skills on exploring software vulnerabilities.
• Sound knowledge on binary patch and rewriting.
• Sound knowledge of computer virus.
• Application security practices with a minimum of 2-3 years.
• Good understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities.
• Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• A detailed and technical orientation.
