JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Developer
Location: Falls Church, Virginia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-08-15
.NET development of web applications, both server side and client presentation, integrating with backend Oracle databases.
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software. Applies appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. Involves full lifecycle development from requirements to test and deployment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
.Net/C# development and web-application / database-integration experience required. Experience implementing applications within Service Oriented Architectures a plus.
Must work well as a member of a development team. Familiarity with DoD work environments and the Information Assurance / Computer Network Defense discipline preferred.
BS or MS required - plus 10 years of progressive IT experience (doesn't have to be all .Net development - just development experience)
Must have completed a government background investigation
