Position:       Principal Software Engineer
Location:       St. Paul, Minnesota, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Secure Computing is seeking a motivated candidate to help establish next generation URL processing infrastructure for inclusion into the TrustedSource (www.trustedsource.org), Web Database. Individual will be expected to show technical leadership, work with teams across multiple locations, and provide design and development expertise with respect to architecture. This individual will have the opportunity to research and report on URL trends, design and integrate new data analysis tools, and be on the cutting edge of Web Security Analysis.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
J2EE architecture design and development experience
C language skills
Basic Linux System Operations including knowledge of system package distribution, event escalation, and 24/7 operational requirements 
Excellent communication skills 
Leadership skills 
Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities 
Ability to estimate and plan out small projects 
Full product lifecycle development experience
Experience implementing systems which work with large, heavily utilized databases.

Preferred

Basic knowledge of the web
Basic understanding of how Malware works with respect to the Web
Perl scripting capabilities
Reporting experience
