JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:       Software Engineer
Location:       St. Paul, Minnesota, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2008-08-28

We are currently looking for a Network Services Engineer to: 

Install our products at customer sites in the US and internationally 
Provide support to customers by training on site personnel in set-up configuration and operation of systems 
Conduct formal training to customers, resellers and employees locally and on-site 
Support customers via the phone prior to and after installs to diagnosis and troubleshoot problems and to prepare for product installations 


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Ability to install and configure network equipment into client sites 
Familiarity with configurations of routers 
Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, sendmail, DNS, and http/https Firewalls (2+ years UNIX experience and prefer 3+ years experience with Secure Computing's products) 
Excellent written, interpersonal and presentation skills 
Familiarity with configurations of routers 
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of related experience 
Extensive travel is required and prior experience conducting technical training is preferred
