The Business Continuity Management (BCM) Team is responsible for providing BCM leadership, expertise and operational excellence to ensure that the group has well-coordinated and fully tested disaster recovery (DR) plans globally for their Service Operations including business resumption (BR) plans for all units. They currently are growing the BCM team globally to ensure best-in-class business continuity preparedness for their high growth / high intensity / high visibility service operations. Reporting to Business Continuity Manager/Director on a team of 5, you will be primarily responsible for all aspects of Disaster Recovery, Business Resumption and Crisis Management planning. This would include: · Leading and coordinating expert representatives from business units to create/improve/review/update disaster recovery plans, business resumption plans and incident management plans. In this, you would be required to use your knowledge and experience of BCM methodologies, technology solutions, business resumption strategies and crisis management practices to maintain a highly aggressive BCP readiness for the group. · Affirmatively driving and coordinating BCP tests schedule and designing test strategies and plans most suited to the business environment. · Engaging stakeholders including senior management through appropriate reporting on the program to promote accountability and business-driven approach for the program. · Plan and conduct BCM training and awareness sessions for recovery teams, managers and staff. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- · Minimum of 3-5 years experience of Disaster Recovery Planning backed by strong and progressive experience of technology solutions and technology recovery in a global infrastructure environment. · 3-5 years experience and knowledge of business impact and risk analysis, business continuity strategy development, plan development and revision, development and facilitation of testing, program maintenance and crisis/event management across multiple business units. · Knowledge of BCM industry good practices for adoption and integration into the BCM program. Preferably a certified BCM professional. · Passion for ensuring highest level of BCP readiness which is driven by your ability to attend to fine details within BC plans. · Strong communication skills including the ability to develop and deliver awareness and education sessions and coach business units in the development/enhancement of business continuity solutions. ***Preferred consideration for: · ITIL and Project Management qualifications and experience · Continuously progressive experience within IT and/or Telecommunications, preferably with hands-on technology exposure.
