POSITION SUMMARY This is a mid-level position reporting to the Vice President of Product Management. This position involves responsibility for defining new service lines as well as managing a service line. It is a highly visible position with enhanced opportunity for career growth. In this role, you will drive product strategy for your services and will lead the matrix team responsible for delivering these service lines. Your focus will be to work with the VP of Product Management and the Chief Marketing Officer to develop a compelling technology vision for your service and to execute, measure, and adjust the strategy accordingly. You must have experience in security technologies, and ideally managed services. You would use your client input, market knowledge, and experience to define product requirements for services that will be highly competitive in the market and can be delivered efficiently through our Security Operations Center. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Review and prioritize enhancement requests. • Review and prioritize bugs. • Create and advocate business-cases justifying bundles of new features and functionality for a services. • Leverage a deep understanding of clients, the market, competition, and environment to create a winning product. • Create and communicate coherent short and long term visions for service. • Create and communicate coherent short and long term roadmaps for service. • Create organizational alignment around product goals, initiatives, and priorities. • Periodically create and advocate business plans for new service offerings. • Periodically create and analyze cost/benefit scenarios for product initiatives. • Manage relationships with major stakeholders and internal business partners. • Create and maintain an environment of transparency, accountability, and success with internal and external stakeholders and partners. Additional Responsibilities • Evangelize products internally. • Be a knowledge resource to the company reading the market, competition, and environment. • Perform other essential duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities • Strong leadership skills – create/acquire a vision and align others around it. • Management skills necessary to manage self and others to completion of initiatives. • Analytic skills necessary create and analyze business cases and cost/benefit scenarios. • Communication skills necessary to reach a wide variety of perspectives represented by different internal groups. • Deep market knowledge, specifically managed services and/or security services. • High-level technical understanding of security services and how they may be delivered.
