Information Security Media Group (ISMG) owns BankInfoSecurity.com an online web portal focused in providing timely information and education to senior management at banking institutions throughout the U.S. We publish original article content written by our editorial staff and industry partners, organize the latest regulations from the FDIC, OCC, OTS, The Federal Reserve, FinCEN, and other major banking regulatory bodies, offer weekly webinars, have an extensive white paper repository, and an online resource directory. The typical audience for the content on our site is senior management responsible for architecting, maintaining and approving compliance, audit, security and technology infrastructures at these banking organizations. BankInfoSecurity.com is looking for a Director of Education. The Director of Education would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of educational content for our users on BankInfoSecurity.com, CUInfoSecurity.com, and future properties. This may include webinar development, computer-based training (CBT) course development, and live roundtable event coordination. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in banking, with at least a moderate level of information security understanding. An understanding of the regulatory requirements in the banking sector is a must. Duties include: • Developing topics for webinars, online workshops, and training modules. • Taking ownership of B2B Webinar offerings. • Ensuring webinars are most closely matched with our audience. • Sourcing speakers, moderators, and content experts for webinars, online workshops, and training modules. • Keeping a steady influx of new webinar titles each month. • Presenting once or twice per month and/or producing webinars. • Taking control of quality assurance for all presentations and working with speakers/presenters to ensure their productions are polished and on-topic. • Developing a presenter “faculty” – a stable of presenters that can be called upon to develop and speak on different topics. • Maintain and expand webinar training programs. • Develop and source for InfoSec training modules. • Oversee InfoSec training module development.
