JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:       Application Security Engineer
Location:       Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2008-09-28

The Applications Security Officer is in charge of
corporate applications (ERP, active directory, Notes, Workgroups, etc…) security in line with the security strategy. Moreover, he will support the corporate effort to define, control and monitor applications access (end-users access, role segmentation, identity management, etc…).



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
REQUIRED:

       -  Past experience in administration of
          applications, Authentication Servers, IAM, SSO, Reverse proxy etc
       -  Past experience in ERP: Oracle (Financial, Manufacturing, Supply chain), Siebel (CRM,Customer Care, Sales),         Datawarehouse/Business Intelligence (Cognos)
       -  Workgroups: Notes (Messaging, workflow,
          documents databases), Sharepoint,
          Quickplace, etc..
       -  Perform applications audit : Identify
          functional / IT dependencies, measure risk assessment. Fill-in dashboards.
       -  Conduct risk assessments in information
          systems. Identify, prioritize and analyze existing and potential risks, threats and vulnerabilities
       -  Perform User Access assessments and
          provide new processes and controls for user access control
       -  Design and implement segregation of duties in corporate applications
       -  Communicate on Security policy and
          procedures (access control, data
          encryption, applications patching strategy, etc…)
      -   Respect and help to improve the Security
          guidelines and standards (SMS, ITIL, PDCA)
      -   Office suites (Word, PowerPoint, excel) for reporting and communication ; SQL / DB
          design and implementation for analyses
          (Access, MySQL…)
      -   Identity Access Management
      -   A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer
      Science, IT Engineering or other related
      disciplines or strongly and justified autodidact
      -   Fluent in English
      -   Self organization capacity (security survey, project management, reporting) and rigourous method (PDCA methodology)
      -   Good Presentation and Communication skills
      (enjoy interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environment)
      -   ISO 27001, ITIL, OSSP

TRAVEL:
Regular in APJ, with 2 or 3 intercontinental travels per year.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience specialized in the
ERP Applications / User access control, IT Risk
Management and security communications.
