--------------------------------------------------- SECURITYFOCUS JOBS - NEW OPPORTUNITY --------------------------------------------------- JOB DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------- Position: Security Consultant Location: Any City, New York, United States Type: Permanent F/T Closing Date: 2008-10-04 The Technical Project Manager will conduct security assessments; communicate recommendations to clients in verbal and written format. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, countermeasures, security tools and network technologies. Develop and maintain client relationships. Assist the sales process. Identify and develop new sales opportunities in existing and new clients. Manage consultants during engagements. Manage consultants' professional development. Responsibilities: As team leader, manage and perform security assessments and other client work related to Foundstone's professional services offerings; create and execute project work plans. Monitor progress against plan and alter when needed. Deliver work on time and within budget. Quickly identify and resolve risks to the project. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Identify and implement improvements in existing processes and procedures. Mentor consultants and peers in Project Management processes and guidelines.
