--------------------------------------------------- SECURITYFOCUS JOBS - NEW OPPORTUNITY --------------------------------------------------- JOB DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------- Position: Security Consultant Location: London, , United Kingdom Type: Contract Closing Date: 2008-09-19 CLAS Consultant Reference No. 324 Company Legal Location London Day Rate £600/day to £650/day Duration 15 days Start Date ASAP No. Required 1 The Role Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to) to the following: To produce a Privacy Impact Assessment To review the accredited documentation set and action required changes To complete an initial Risk Assessment To review all data handling procedures and provide recommendations where required To provide recommendations on the following: Contracting terms Off-shoring HR records retention policy Penetration testing Audit of staff usage 3rd party contracting Disaster Recovery Business Continuity Deliverables Compliance with the Hannigan Report. SIRO signoff of the Privacy Impact Assessment. Agreement on Lead SIRO. Skills / Experience Civil Service or public sector experience focusing on cross departmental working. Ability to work and contribute effectively as a CLAS consultant and establish collaborative working relationships at different levels. Excellent understanding of the Hannigan requirements. Ability to produce a Privacy Impact Assessment. Excellent understanding of GSE / GSI accreditation process. Ability to produce a Risk Assessment review. Full understanding of an Accredited Documentation Set. Full understanding of data protection requirements. Security Clearance Successful candidate(s) will be subject to the Security and Nationality checks, and will be required to complete and submit a Vetting Form in addition to providing any documentation in support of the vetting process before an appointment is made.
