The Role  =0D
The role entails carrying out firewall rulebase reviews for Legacy firewa=
lls in the EMEA region including: =0D
- liaising with the Network Management Team to identify the most recent f=
irewall rulesets =0D
- comparing the rulesets to the Banks policies to identify areas of non c=
ompliance =0D
- reconciling the rulesets to approved firewall change records =0D
- identify instances of non compliance with industry best practice in fir=
ewall ruleset configuration =0D
- identifying any improvements that could be made to rules to improve sec=
urity (Such as reducing subnet side, reducing open ports/services etc) =0D
- documenting findings in a standard Firewall Ruleset Review Template (MS=
 Word). Includes explaining in easy to understand terms - the issues, the=
 risk, mitigation steps necessary and agreed actions =0D
- Reviewing the above report and agreeing and completing any editorial ch=
anges =0D
- agreeing issues and action plans to resolve those issues with the Netwo=
rk Management Team =0D
- Logging agreed actions, target dates etc. in the Banks Issues Tracking =
Database. =0D
=0D
Role will be based in London and no travel is anticipated.
