As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for the following:=0D
=0D
+ Integrating Sourcefire software on third party operating systems and ha=
rdware=0D
+ Building installation packages using third party tools=0D
+ Working with third party vendors to prioritize and resolve issues=0D
+ Tracking and resolving bugs related to third party systems=0D
+ Scoping new features for new product releases=0D
+ Writing feature requirement and design documents


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)=0D
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills=0D
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team=0D
+ Ability to learn new skills and apply them quickly=0D
+ Ability to triage and prioritize multiple issues simultaneously=0D
+ Experience with C, perl, and UNIX shell scripting=0D
+ Basic UNIX system administration skills=0D
=0D
In addition, the following skills are desired:=0D
=0D
+ Experience with Python=0D
+ Familiarity with software packaging technologies such as RPM and Makese=
lf=0D
+ Familiarity with multiple Linux distributions=0D
+ Familiarity with Cisco switch configuration=0D
+ Familiarity with TCP/IP=0D
+ Familiarity with networking hardware=0D
+ Familiarity with network architecture=0D
+ Familiarity with network performance testing=0D
