I don't think it needs to be too complex, but as an audience member, I'd 
be after a couple of things in particular:

(1) Where does libnet fit into the scheme of things? What other 
libraries complement it's functionality? (libpcap, libdnet, etc. kinda 
thing). Illustrate the scope of libnet and what it was intended to 
provide, and not provide.

(2) I like theory but I lean more to the practical side, so a simple 
overhead demo of how to throw together some quick little network util 
using libnet would be cool.

If I were you, I'd just lift some of the material from your network 
security tools book ;)
