Question about Nessus development

Hi everybody,
just wanted to ask some newbie questions. I'm intererested in Nessus API
and plug-in development.
The developers site that "man" refers to "http://cvs.nessus.org" is not
online any more as I can see.
I've installed the nessus-dev package but it's just nessus headers. I
can't find any development info at "www.nessus.org" either.
Probably, it just me that don't see where to click.
Where I can find documentation about Nessus API and plug-in development.
I suppose all of this would be about Nessus 2.X as Nessus 3.X is propietary.
