Our preferred platforms are (in that order) :

	- FreeBSD 4.x 
	- RedHat Linux (either ES/AS or Fedora Core 1)
	- MacOS X 10.3

Most of the coding is done under MacOS X, and most of the stress-testing
is done under FreeBSD and Linux.
