Hi,

I'm having a problem with running Nessus via an ipsec tunnel
which is I can't do any other way. The problem is that the ipsec tunnel
interface ipsec0 (virtual) has the same ipaddress and the same mac
address as the real interface (eth0). Nessus seems to want to use ipsec0
automatically which nothing will pass through it as eth0 has to be used.
Nessus unlike nmap does not allow interface specification only ip
address specification. Is there anyway I can do this? Maybe hard coding
eth0 to the code and recompile? I would very much appreciate any ideas
on this as I have tried searching the Internet and reading the docs but
couldn't find anything. The ipsec tunnel software being used is
freeswan. Thanks in advance.

P.S. Please include my email to any replies.

Cheers,
-Alan
