So would a mktime() function. Converting timestamps located within
the HTTP headers would give an accurate read of the system time
of any system supporting HTTP.

Further, correlating to (if available) ICMP timestamps would possibly
indicate existence of different equipment on the same IP if the
delta of the timestamp to the auditing system's time varied.
